Hotel Policies

The Lakeside requires that a 50% deposit be placed on credit card in order for a reservation. Further cancellation and refund policies can be found below. Guests are responsible for any damage to the rooms or items in the rooms or on the property. Please maintain agreeable relations with other guests & staff on the property and respect the shared space. We have a zero tolerance policy towards harassment and maintain an inclusive space. We are located in downtown Wellington and we ask all guests to honour quiet time in all the public spaces and rooms between 11pm - 8am. Guests that do not adhere to the policies and regulations will be asked to leave the property with no refund. All outside visitors that are not guests must register with the office.

Office hours are from 9AM – 9PM, please arrange late arrivals & early departures in advance
Sorry there is limited availability for well behaved pets, please call the office to enquire about availability. 
Service animals are always welcome (papers required)
No smoking in the rooms
We are not responsible for any personal items that may be lost, damaged or stolen
We reserve the right to charge your credit card for missing or damaged items
Bikes will be available for persons over the age of 16 on a first come first serve basis
Canoes are available for persons over the age of 16 on a first come first serve basis

Cancellations & Refunds

A credit card deposit equal to half your stay is due at to guarantee a reservation. Full refund is available if the reservation is cancelled by 3pm, 7 days prior to arrival. Cancellations made from 3pm 7 days to 48 hours prior to arrival will result in a cancellation fee in the amount of one full night. Cancellations made after 3pm 48 hours prior to arrival will result in a full charge for the entire length of stay. Polices can vary for specials, packages and prepaid reservations. Please review the booking description of your  reservation.
